Reasons to Reline
|
- To repair a damaged flue liner
- To properly "size" the flue for a new appliance/furnace (Newer heating systems are much more efficient and usually require smaller flues to function properly.)
- To replace worn out flues that have deteriorated (allowing creosote, condensation, gases and smoke to filter through the chimney walls and into the home)
- To properly "size" a fireplace flue for use with an Insert or Stove (Relining will prevent excessive build-up of third-degree creosote.)
- To upgrade older chimneys that were originally constructed without flue liners
